Simple Songs About Death // VR
SSAD VR has artistic and research characteristics which take up the theme of death in virtual environments.
The experience is inspired by the myth of Orpheus and Eurydice. The figure of Eurydice, with her letters, leads the viewer through the successive spaces and themes contained in the experience. Its recipient, like the mythological Orpheus, swims with the current of the Vistula River traversing the land of the dead.
The project had its world premiere at the DOX Centre for Contemporary Art in Prague as part of the Art VR festival. It was also presented at the 64th Krakow Film Festival and at the “Still Human” exhibition in Seoul (South Korea), organized by the Adam Mickiewicz Institute and others.
