Wiera Gran // Scenography // Lights
// Visual Projection
The performance tells the story of Wiera Gran through her iconic songs, documentary archival materials, and the returning demons of memory.
The production involved designing an intimate stage setting as well as the lighting and projection direction, creating an ambiguous, purgatorial space in which the title singer’s intimate confession unfolds.

“Wiera Gran is staged on the smallest stage of the Polski Theatre, which I like to call—with my usual touch of mischief—the broom closet. All the more praise is due to Patrycja Superczyńska and Maciej Czuchryta, the authors of the set design, lighting, and video, for squeezing absolutely everything possible out of this theatrical micro-studio. Bravo.”
