The Kindly Ones

The project provided the visual design for a stage adaptation of Jonathan Littell's novel „The Kindly Ones”, directed by Maja Kleczewska at the Śląski Theatre in Katowice.

The production involved building holograms that compose the visual projections of the protagonist's nightmarish visions. The three-dimensional projection effect was achieved through an original method of repurposing standard stage rigging elements.

The project combined special effects with projection technology to create a coherent visual layer that became an extension of the stage and of the production's dramaturgy.
