Songs of the Ghetto

Songs of the Ghetto is a production directed by Gołda Tencer, staged for the 80th anniversary of the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising, weaving together Polish and Yiddish songs with fragments of letters and diaries written inside the ghetto.

The projections were designed as a subtle narrative layer running alongside the performance, built from archival material and translated into a consistent visual language. Supporting the rhythm and emotional register of the piece, the visuals reinforce the presence of these testimonies without ever overpowering the live action on stage.
